The FAAC E124 is an electronic control unit designed for FAAC 24V sliding gate motors. It provides intelligent management of the motor's operation, handling directional control, travel limit programming, obstacle detection through motor current monitoring, and integration with safety devices and access control inputs.
The E124 continuously monitors the motor's current draw during operation. If the gate encounters an obstacle and the motor has to work harder than normal, the E124 detects the increase in current and immediately stops and reverses the gate.
